I am loving connecting with God through art!
I painted this for a friend who has been an inspiration to me for more years than I can count. I decided to call it "Terri's Amazing Grace" because of a conversation we had last month. She talked about being a musician's wife and shared words of wisdom about creativity and how important it is to allow an artist to be an artist. She believes that creativity is that God part that makes us who we are. When she married her husband, she made a conscious choice to support him in his creativity as a musician. If she stiffled the creative part she would be stiffling the God part. She raised her children with the same belief and support. All three of them dabble in their father's art of music and have pursued their own creative paths. When I gave Terri the painting, tears began to well up in her eyes and she said, "I always cry when I think about that song!"
Who knew!
God did!

How lovely! What a sweet gift for your friend. Your support and understanding of her grace in this area must also be a tremendous blessing to her.
I feel the same way about connecting with the Divine this way. It is such an uplifting way to pray. :)
